Blog of Baphomet

The Blog of Baphomet is a blog by magicians as a space to describe their living experience of magick in a way that is informed by many traditions, but not to be limited to any one style of occultism.

Like Baphomet, their representation of the underlying structure of the universe, they seek to dissolve and recombine. The writing is personal (at times like reading someone’s magickal diary), and global (exploring the magickal world view as it touches on fields such as technology, politics and social process). Their aim is to include as many readers as possible but without dumbing-down and re-hashing. They hope to stimulate discussion and will value readers' comments.

The blog's authors are: Julian Vayne—an occultist and the author of a number of books, essays and articles in both the academic and esoteric press. Steve Dee—a chaos magician, Amookos initiate and gnostic explorer who lives in Devon. Nikki Wyrd—a practitioner of chaos magick for 24 years, punk bass guitarist, priestess, and parent.
